We have developed Excalibur to be a user friendly Batch Automation System.

The Graphics Screen which displays the current plant situation also allows manual control via the mouse (manual control is also available via the manual push button control panel).

Control of the process is via Control Recipes. These Recipes as well as listing the required raw materials and their set points also holds calls to Control Recipes which control the operation of the plant. In doing this, plant control is not buried inside a PLC but is in front of the operator who is able to identify issues relating to faulty sensors or delays caused by sequencing issues.  The operator is then able to bypass the issue, rectify the issue or call the correct qualified service technician to fix the situation.



We provide multiple ways of looking at the production at hand. These include:

The Immediate window which shows the status of the items under control now.

The Progress window which shows all the batchable items with their batched quantities.

The Global window which shows all batching and sequencing information which can provide an actual time based sequence report.



Excalibur can control multistage batch plants.
If required and physically possible we can allow batches to pass each other in the production to permit holding back of delayed production. Example in a 2 bin Front end Loader batch plant, if a truck is delayed its load in the Agg bin can remain active but waiting while production continues via the 2nd Agg bin.
